Grafts: 3,000 Sessions: 1 |
Photo gap: 12 months Norwood scale: 5 |
Patient presented with a hair loss pattern consistent with Norwood Scale Category 5, indicating moderate to severe hair loss. The patient has never taken any medication for the prevention of hair loss. The patients ideal outcome was to cover the frontal and midscalp zones with high density and to cover the anterior part of the vertex zone with as many as grafts allow. We restored a natural framing of the face with a conservative hairline that is not too low or aggressive.
Grafts: 2,500 Sessions: 1 |
Photo gap: 12 months Norwood scale: 3 |
This patient presented with loss of the definition in the frontal hairline typical of Male Pattern Hairloss. The hair quality in the first one to two centimeters of his currently poorly defined hairline are characterised as thin and wispy, as they are hairs which have been miniaturized by the effects of DHT. The plan for this patient was to re-create a natural-appearing hairline that will appropriately frame his face.
Grafts: 2,000 Sessions: 1 |
Photo gap: 12 months Norwood scale: 3 Vertex |
This patient is a classic case of somebody suffering from Male Pattern Baldness. Patient started to develop a recession and slowly had also started to thin through the crown. With a procedure of 2000 grafts we not only re-established a permanent new frontal hair line but also improved coverage through the crown. The hair line was slightly lowered with the recession filled on both sides and also had hair transplanted in between existing thinning hair through the crown.
